Hello! First off, I want to express how excited I am to be a part of the McPherson County Schools. I look forward to working with my colleagues, students and parents to provide the best education for the students. A little about myself... I am originally from a small town in Eastern Nebraska. I lived pretty far outside of town on a small farm where I helped my family and other neighbors with their farms. My favorite part of living on the farm was raising a bottle calf we got every year. After high school I attended and graduated from the University of Mary, in Bismarck ND. I loved my experience at UM where I majored in Biology education. After graduation, I moved back to Nebraska and have been getting ready for the school year.
I love being back in Nebraska, spending my time in my garden, getting to see my family more, and going four-wheeling with my boyfriend. While Aaron enjoys going fast and doing scary jumps, I prefer mudding. |
I am a very student orientated teacher, always finding new ways to make science fun for students. I believe in bringing new technology to the classroom and having the student participate in many hand-on labs. Like I said before, I am very excited for the school year to start, and I am looking forward to bringing in my love of Science and Education to McPherson.
